Unable to install update

BlankRe: Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service
Pack 1 (KB928366)

I have downloaded this update and attempted to install it several times only
to be advised that the installation has been unsuccessful. Each time I
re-boot my computer a dialogue box appears telling me that the update is
awaiting installation but when I attempt to install I get the same result.

Hi
download the .Net Frame work romoval tool to remove all the .net frameworks
from the computer and then re-install .net Framework 1.1,2.0 and 3.5

check the following link to remove and re-install the .net Frameworks
