Unable to install update

Today, I checked MS site and downloaded and installed several updates.
However, the Security Update for Windows XP (KB913446) could not be
installed. I tried twice to no avail. Does anyone knows why I could not
install this particular security update? What this update is all about? How
to install it?

I just had it download automatically and had no problem so the problem
is solved. It is an update for DOS (denial of Service)

I also had the same problem. Tried several times to update via the normal
Microsoft update link but each time it failed.
Using the link you gave worked ok though.
