Unable to find contacts for email "To"

I transfered my Outlook setting from an XP box with Outlook 2003 to a Vista
box with 2007. My contacts show up under the contacts tab, but they do not
show up in new emails. The "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book"
option is greyed out for both my Outlook contacts and my downloaded
msn/hotmail contacts.

Please help me fix this.

Make sure the Outlook Address Book service is part of your profile. Check
here in Outlook: Tools menu > Accounts > Address Books

When I look there, I have an address book called "Outlook Address Book".
When I look under Contacts in Outlook, under "My Contacts" I see "Contacts"
and "Contacts in (e-mail address removed)". Is that the same address book? IOW, is
"Outlook Address Book" the same/ linked to "My Contacts/Contacts"?

They're different contact folders. One's int he PST you have on your hard
drive and the other is on the MSN server.

If you can't see a contacts folder in the Outlook Address Book "Show names
from the" drop-down, see this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287563/en-us
