Message says setup could not verify the entegrity of the
file "update.inf." file. Make sure the cryptographic
service is running on this computer. Can anyone help me
with this?

if you are using Xp and are online got to start. help and support and in the
search type in cryptographic service error xp and press search / it will
find 15 results for micrsoft knowladge base articles. # 5 rpobably is the
one you wnat to follow.

I just came across this same issue with our mobile pc's. The problem is that we are running Windows XP Embedded. The updates will not work. Right now I am sending the unit back to the Manufacturer to update.
