Unable to download file using IE

Hi
It seems that I removed something while clearing up after trojan, now I can't download any file using IE. FTP works OK and I can download windows updates...
Any ideas
Thanks in advance.
 
Forgot to mention -
the Save As window opens, and when I select the path and press OK, download window appear but that's it. It never starts to download .
 
Meanwhile I tried this
Removed quick time - didn't hel
Unchecked "Enable 3rd party browser extentions" - didn't hel
And I do not have any entries under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet explorer\Plugins\Extentions\
