Unable to delete email in inbox

My colleague want to delete junk emails but he can't. When he highlight
email and select delete, the email remain and no error message occurred (but
some email can be deleted). He already restart his PC and also compact the
inbox. Can anybody give me adivce? Thx!

What's the name of your e-mail client? Is it Outlook express? If it is have
you tried opening Options in the tools menu and selecting the Maintenance
tab? From there you can check the box to empty the contents of deleted
items folder on program close. Also you can compact and delete downloaded
messages by clicking the Clean Up Now button but I'm not sure if that just
means news messages or mail messages also... I don't use OE for mail but
you might try going to the inbox and manually delete unwanted messages to
the Deleted items folder then if you checked the box in the Maintenance
tab to delete the items in this folder that should work?
