Unable to Connect to TS 2000

When attempting to connection to TS Server (Advanced) The
connecting to window appears and displays unable to
connect.
I am able to ping, resolve names and telnet into port 3389
however when i do telnet it is suppose to show a blue
computer, this is not the case.

Any thoughts

Is there any event log on the TS Server box? what version of OS are you
running?
