"Unable to connect to the server."

Just got my Windows Mail up and running today. Went to subscribe to some
newsgroups and able to view bianaries w/o any problems. I found some with
the yEnc encoding, so I downloaded a decoder (can't remember which one and I
can't seem to find it on the computer), and everything seemed to work fine
with it. But when I restarted my computer and opened the WM, I got the
"Unable to connect to the server." message. I don't have any problems with
any e-mail scanner or firewall protection. Any help would be greatly
apprecaited.
P.S. I'm using Windstream as my news server.

Right-click on the error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

: I have windstream mail that was working fine until I
received this error message: "Account: 'windows mail',
server:'mail.windstream.net' Protocol:SMTP,Port:25, Secure(SSL): No,Socket
Error: 10060 Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
