unable to connect to sites on anything but....

I have no idea how this happened... i have tried everything... i have called
my isp... flushed and refreshed my dns i have reinstalled all my browsers but
only IE and nothing else but IE will work... everything else will not connect
to the internet... everything... p2p, mozilla, outlook, everything is not
working but IE... could there be a program conflict... i dont have much
running i also tried to run msconfig and take some things off of start up and
that didnt help... when i go into safemode firefox and everything else
works.... but i dont know what could be doing it... i uninstalled most
everything i need..... updates are all installed has anyone heard of this
before can someone give me some advice on this

I would dwnload, update and run Ad-aware, Spybot Search and Destroy,
and HiJack This and make sure that your anti-virus is up to date.

It sounds like your system has become infected with malware or with a
virus. Also, download and run Microsoft Malicious Software Removal
tool.

If none of that finds or fixes anything, then you may have a more
serious problem.
