Unable to connect to servers in OL, but works in OE

Does anyone know what is needed to fix this problem of OL 2003 not connecting
to POP3 and SMTP servers? Works fine in OE. Cannot find cure anywhere.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled OL. Still won't work.

Task 'Road Runner - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The server
name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be down
temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is
correct.'

Did you try importing the account settings from OE?
