I am unable to connect to the pop 3 server of my isp. I keep getting the
following error message

Task 'mail.cwjamaica.com - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The
server name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be down
temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is
correct.'

I encountered exactly the same error after I installed SP3. I can access the
POP3 server if I use Outlook Express instead of Outlook. Is it the same for
you? I hope somebody has a solution.

I went to "control Panel" and "install/unistall". You cannot unistall SP3 so
I chose the "repair/reinstall" function for Outlook. After some reentering of
settings, the problem went away. Everything works fine for me now.
