Can anyone please help me on the following problem?

When I click on the Internet Explorer icon, a window box appears
stating "encountered problem." The following messages appears:
"Internet Explorer has caused an invalid page fault in Module
KERNEL32.DLL at 0167.bff7a388" and "Error Signature: App Ver.
6.0.2800.1106, Mod Name: kernel32.dll, Mod Ver: 4.10.0.2222, Offset:
0000a388." (I am unable to send the error report to Microsoft).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Internet explorer (as well as
downloading 6.1 pack), but the problem still occurs.

Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
