Unable to auto sign-on when viewing Intranet HTML in Outlook 2003

I am running Outlook 2003, SP1 on XP SP2. I configured my Security Zone to
auto sign-on when I am viewing Intranet site. This works when I view them in
IE. However, if someone sends me a HTML email, I am prompted for ID and
password.

I have defined my Intranet under Security Zones > Local Intranet. And under
Custom Level, change to auto sign-on under Authentication. This is why it
works for IE. However, it does not work for email.

Under Outlook, I only get to select Internet or Restricted site. Is this
normal?

How to resolve my problem?

It's normal to have those two restrictive zones. Not sure if you can setup
anonymous logins or such on your intranet but you can't lower Outlook's
security below the two settings you're given
