Unable to Access Google, URL not found

For the past week I have been unable to access the Google
website, a site I've never had problems with in the
past. I get a message URL not found when trying to log
onto Google. This problem occurs whether I type Google
in address bar, or even trying to access it via a link on
another website. Has me copmpletely perplexed....please
help. Thanks

There is also a hosts file that was created by the worm
here:
C:\WINDOWS\Help

Do a search under windows for "hosts". Open the file under
notebad. It should be pretty much empty, but if you see a
bunch of url's all mapped to the same ip, you've been
wormed.

Found solution and took only minutes to fix. Was a
Qhosts Trojan. Followed the instrustions from another
posters problem noted below to fix.

"It is the Qhosts trojan. Install the critcal update
MS03-040 to prevent it
happening again. Read the following site and get the fix
tool.
