Unable to acces some web sites

I am unable to access some company web sites for some
reason lately. I try to go to Vanguard (the mutual fund)
and Kodak (the film company)and never get through. I am
always getting "page will not display" error.

I did update my windows security patches recently.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

I did have 2 hosts files and changed them to oldhost but I
am still unable to access those sites. When I do a search
I find:
-lmhost, oldhosts, oldHosts, hosts.bak0, hosts.2040-
244.bakup In Windows
-dllhosts In windows/system
-a hosts directory under program files/support
-2 hostskeys directories
-Hosts.sbs.sig (SPybot)
-Hosts (spybot)

Do these have any affect? Thanks
