Un-Installing and Re-Installing

I am running WindowsXP Pro but are getting multiple crashes, have lost my
original Disc, How can I Uninstall it and reinstall Windows Home Edition SP2

Without the CD, your options are limited. If you have another computer with
the same specs and have the CD media for the system, it might work on the
system you lost the media. You could borrow a CD from a friend or other
resource that was an exact duplicate of the lost original disk. The product
ID is the only unique variable in resolving your problem. If you find an XP
CD that accepts your Product ID, make a copy of it and you will be able to
reinstall anytime you want to.

It's unclear what you're trying to acconplish, but if you expect XP Home to
give you fewer crashes than XP Professional, you're mistaken. They are
identical in stability; Professional just has a few extra features.

On the other hand, if you just want to install Home because you have a CD
for it, but not for Professional, you can do that. However there's no such
thing as uninstalling XP Professional. The only way to do what you want is
by doing a clean installation of XP Home, formatting the drive and removing
XP Professional along with everything else on the drive.
