UMAX Astra 1220U Scanner not working on XP

To any one that can help,

I have upgraded to XP and find know that I can not my
scanner program to work. I want to use the copy machine
function on it but when I try it says a scanner link
failed. I am not sure what the problem is. I can go into
my computer and run the scanner through there but not
through the alta vista program. Any suggestion to fix
this that I could try. Email me please.

Hello

Go to www.umax.com and find updated drivers for
your scanner, and remember to remove all exsisting drivers
forst and then install the new drivers

You need to get the updates to 3.85 of the UMAX software. www.umax.com

Try downloading a new driver.

NO! Do not remove the existing drivers!!!!!

You need to apply the new driver (patch) after the previous ones are
installed!!!!!!
