ultrabay 80gb HDD for IBM T40 laptop

I cannot access my Ultrabay HDD. When I open My Computer or
Windows Explorer, it is not there. Although the Hardware
Wizard indicates that it is installed and working properly.
Any suggestions on how to access the drive?
 
Sounds like the drive has not been setup in the software,
Has the drive bee formatted / partitioned at install.
If not re- run the install software
