Installing XP on 2nd HDD

I'm looking for suggestions for the best way to install XP on second HDD
that will occupy my laptop's Ultrabay. The challenge is when my HDD is
occupying my Ultrabay, I have no CD-ROM. If I copy my XP source files from
the XP setup disc to my primary HDD (containing XP Pro), will I be able to
install a clean instance of XP on the 2nd HDD and configure a dual-boot?

Yes, you can copy the files to the first hard drive and install of off
there.
