Typing prob

I opened a Japanese file one Internet explorer which opened up Word.
Ever since whenever I try to type using Word I can only type from top
to bottom not from left to right. Is there anyway I can fix this? I'm
using Windows ME with windows 2000.

The detect language has been switch to Kanji. Just check all the language
setting in Word (and in Windows Regional Settings) are all reverted back to
the correct language again.
