two users-different accounts-same pc

my wife and I don't have the same desktops,meaning I have adobe7.0,recyle
bin,things of that nature but she doesn't. Can't get screensaver or change
desktop for her, she has the icons but they don't work on her desktop. help
please........

Try opening a new account,run new on restart of computer,if all is ok and
what you should have,then the user account is corrupt,delete account.
You can/could also,install xp cd,exit the info page,go to run,type:cmd
In cmd type:Sfc /Scannow
The windows file chk and repair will/should fix the problem(s).
