Two sites do not work for me

Hi .

Today , I tried to enter the following sites :

http://www.egged.co.il
http://www.nite.org.il

While loading http://www.egged.co.il , the words in the status bar of IE6
were :
"Opening page http://www.egged.co.il/..." . A few seconds after this
message ,
the word "Done" appeared in the status bar , but a white page (blank page)
was displayed .

I got similiar result with http://www.nite.org.il : here , the words
"Opening page http://www.nite.org.il/..." appeared for a second , even less
than a second ,
"Done" appeared in the status bar and white page was displayed .

A few days ago , I entered http://www.egged.co.il and there were no
problems .

I can enter other sites with the extension .co.il .

I have even tried to clean up the temporary Internet files (using Windows
disk cleanup) ,
but the problem wasn't solved .

Please tell me , if you can enter the 2 sites mentioned above , and ideas
about solving the problem .

Thanks in advance ,
Lior .

I don't have any idea what this can be, only know that if you look at
this newsgroup, yuo see thousands of people all having different
problems with their IE. But you know, for fun I also sometimes help
people at the dutch firefox newsgroup... And there is only something
about 1 question a day, and most questions are like:
I can't find my favorites
or
How can I do this or that... All things that are easily solved... But
only once a month, in the whole Flanders and The Netherlands (about 20
million people), someone has a real problem with firefox. So really, get
firefox at www.getfirefox.com, and you'll really never miss IE... It
automatically imports all you settings and favorites, and IF you ever
should miss IE for whatever reason, just switch back... So there is
really no risk... I hope you consider this,

Thanks,

Hi,

If the problem persist, it might be faulty entries in your HOSTS file.

Search for that file (it has no extensions, and might be hidden). Open it in
notepad and delete all lines looking like

127.0.0.1 websitethatimlookingfor.com

Save it and reboot.

Kind regards

Please tell me , if you can enter the 2 sites mentioned

Using what Security settings? Which OS and what version?

Yes. Internet High level but I don't understand how it is working
as well as it seems to be because that page is loaded with JavaScript.

No. Internet High level.

(View Source shows that this one wants to show a Shockwave flash
"movie" which is ActiveX which is disallowed by that set of options.)
