Downloading From Site.....

Arpan

This question is just for my sheer inquisitiveness & nothing else! Suppose I type the address www.microsoft.com (or any other address) in the Address bar in Internet Explorer 6 & then press the "Enter" key from the keyboard (or click the "Go" button provided in IE). Immediately after doing so, the message "Opening page http://www.microsoft.com/... is displayed in the status bar in IE. Now before the website starts downloading, if the "Tab" key is pressed from the keyboard the status bar shows a new message that says "Downloading from site: about:blank". Why does the status bar display a different message when the "Tab" key is pressed? Note that this holds true only if the home page is set blank (i.e. about:blank).

Thanks,

Arpan

The focus to that page may not be set.

This is the article explaining some of the shortcut keys.
