Two questions re: Icons/short cuts lost

1. I Installed Wordperfect and now their jpg has taken over all the jpeg
files that were there before. How can I change the old icon back without
deleting the WP icon?

2. My MS fax program lost the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer feature and
it has been replaced to be opened by the WP jpg viewer. How can I retrieve
this lost feature and re-instated in the Fax Program?
