tWO PST FILES

The folder with my pst file has resided for some time on my D: drive with
the rest of my data. I recently copied a backup of this folder with my pst
file to my C: drive.

How is it possible that my computer now automatically saves a copy of the
pst file to both folders? Strange! Has anyone ever had this experience
before. I am not complaining. I am happy to have the file automatically
backed up, but I cannot understand how or why?

do/did you use the "backup tool of Microsoft"?

This creates automatically a copy of your PST.
