I amy trying to have some slides print in portrait mode and some in landscape
mode. Can I do this without creating a separate file?

Thanks, David - however, this scenario is strictly for "printing" the slides,
not an on screen show. I'm just looking to see if there's an easier way than
separating the slides into 2 files. Thanks!

Not in PowerPoint.

But if you just need a document you can send to others so they can print it, but
want to author in PPT, you might be able to assemble the PPT bits in Word or
marry several portrait/landscape PDFs together and distribute that.
