How do I view a powerpoint hyperlinked to a 2nd powerpoint

I've created to basic power points, one with a landscape view and one with a
portrait view. I've hyperlinked the two so that the 3 portrait slides are
seen when I do a slide show in place of the 3 landscape photos. However now
that this is completed when I hit view slide show, it is showing the
landscape powerpoint only. Please help
