Two Outlooks on Same PC

Can I have two Outlooks on the same PC with two separate icons, e.g. one for
me and one for someone else? If so, how do I create the second Outlook?

Thanks.

If I read into this where you want to be able to start Outlook twice where
one has UserA data and the other is UserB, then the answer is no.

If I read into this where you just want to be able to have Outlook start
with a specific profile, then the answer is yes. You would start Outlook
with the /profile command line switch. (e.g. start > run > outlook.exe
/profile neo > ok button would start a profile named neo while start > run >
outlook.exe /profile work > ok button would start one named work)

You didn't mention what version of Outlook you are using, so here is a way
to get to the dialog to create a new mail profile.

1) Open the control panel
2) double click on the mail applet
3) select the show profiles button

At this point, you can add, edit, or delete mail profiles.

Can you give some more info? It is Outlook and not Outlook Express too- they
are different programs.

So, if I understand correctly, I can have two Outlook icons. One that opens
under "outlook.exe/profile home" and one that opens under
"outlook.exe/profile work". If I did understand correctly, how do I set
that up?

Thanks,

Yes.

Neo just explained that. Create shortcuts that contain the switches you
wish.

Sorry to be a nuisance, but more questions:

One profile works on Exchange Server and the other does not. If I select,
"Prompt for a profile to be used" will the two connections work
independently, or will I need to be connected to the Exchange Server's
network for the second profile to work as well.

Thanks,

They are independent of each other.
