Need to amalgamate two Outlook 2007 folders

Kelli

I'm trying to merge two email folders of the same name together. These two
folders have the same name - one on my employers' server and one on my
harddrive.

When I try to blend these two folders (lets call them Folders A) with the
same name - I get this:

A
A1

Rather than blend them, Outlook 2007 creates another folder of the same name
and attaches a number to it. If I merged it again I'd get A2 and so on.

Can anyone help me on how to merge these two folders?

Thanks Diane for your answer. Here's another problem that's happening - well
2 more actually - 1st I have sub-folders and 2nd - select all is greyed out -
not making it an option.

?? - help.

open the folder you don't want, select all and move or copy to the other
folder.

if the subfolders exist only in one contacts folder you can drag and drop
the folder, otherwise you need to repeat the select all, move steps for each
folder.

what view are you using? try a table view (i.e., By categories)
