duplicate email messages

I'm trying to streamline my Outlook messages within specific folders. When I
tried to merge two folders together that I knew had duplicate emails, I ended
up with the folder containing 3 emails.

How can I merge two folders together and eliminate the duplicates? I DO NOT
want a program that is a trial basis that you download from some place like
Tucows. I DO NOT want to pay for the program.

I want a program or solution that is completely free, completely non-trial
and works.

I have read other discussions on this subject and I don't know why Microsoft
can't fix this problem for its subscription customers.

Then google and make your own choice.
Why should we do your work for you?

Another question would be, how did you arrive at duplicate mail's in the
first place
Ubscription customers?

I use this group for help to problems. I have always had success. What I
expect is help without financial cost to me. I expect Microsoft to help.

FYI - I did google this issue. I try and find out and solve my own problems
first before coming here.

I'm frustrated at the program. What's your reason for being so flippy? Next
time just move on - and don't reply. Makes the world a better place.

I created a folder on my employer's server that was a copy of one on my
harddrive. I wanted to update and merge the two to keep them both current.
That's when the problems started.
