Two anoying problems when Windows XP Pro starts

1. The Password window pops up keep asking for the password, eventhough the
"remember password" box is checkd. How do I fix that?

2. When Windows boot up, the Search window (Search for File or Folders) also
opens up and stay open until I close it. This is extremely annoying. Anyone
knows why this is happening and how to fix that?

Could you please be more specific? There are hundreds of links and options to
hack the registry...are you refering to hacking the registry for the
Logon/Passowrd problem, or the Search window?
