I read through these news groups quite a lot,and i see tweakui mentioned
often. Is this a 'must have ' programme ,or is it something best left to those
who are more techie than me. BTW,thank you to all the MVP's who reply to
inquiries.i have learned a lot just from reading the answers. Please accept my
condolences on the loss of your friend Alex Nichol

Tweak-UI is an unsupported extension to Windows XP. Basically
it addresses allot of customizations that users want, without having
to actually modify the Registry by hand. The name actually is very
descriptive - Tweak (the) User Interface. Should be one of the 1st
additions to any newly setup XP PC.

Here's a link where you can download the TweakUI program.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

There are a lot of really neat and powerful power toys listed there.
There are accompanying descriptions. I like the super-calculator, but
TweakUI is probably my favorite :D

Actually, TweakUI is just one programs in PowerToys. There some other nice
add-ons like an easy picture resizer and a graphing calculator. Here's where
you can find all of the PowerToys (it is a Microsoft website):

www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/ downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Enjoy!

My favorite tools is send to, don't know what I'd do without it!!
