I would like to download (and install) tweakui from the MS site. But when I
click on the links to get to the page where I can downlaod the file, MS just
runs me around in circles.

Can anyone give me the link which brings me to the download page.

Just click the corresponding download link in the right-hand frame:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

- or -

I used Google to look for

download tweakui

and got more than 1 million hits. The very first one got me
to the Microsoft site which had the various downloadable
files listed on the right-hand side of the screen. No running
around at all!

And... here's a link for PowerToys from microsoft.com. Tweakui is

Sorry to hijack this thread but I noticed something on the MS website.

I already have Tweak UI installed and decided to see if there was
anything else I might want.

On the website, under IMPORTANT (where it tells you to uninstall any
PowerToys prior to April 23, 2002), it clearly states:

"PowerToys only work with U.S. English regional settings".

I have U.K. English regional settings and seem to remember using Tweak
UI successfully.

Is MS wrong or am I?

Thanks for all the replies. I was on the main page that was noted below. I
apparently missed seeing the download links at the right of that oage.

Well, the statement above is misleading. TweakUI and the other Powertoys
work under German WinXP (example) as well.

Yes, they may have meant to say that the pre 23 April, 2002 PowerToys
only worked with U.S. English regional settings.

Badly worded .
