TWAIN Problem WINXP SP2

Hi
When scanning from Win XP with my HP OfficeJet R45 scanner works on the
first attempt. When scanning a 2nd image windows report scanner not found. I
can still scan from control panel. This problem started since installing
SP2. If I restart the scanner works again for 1 image and fails again after
that.
