TWAIN LIST

When I select Twain devices in any acquisition program,
live ACDSee, Photo paint, Photoshop, etc, I have first to
select a twain device.
Still in the list remains uninstall devices which are no
more connected.
Most are old ones (like DeskScan II 2.9 from HP)
How can I delete these lines froms the list; I suppose a
registry entry to delete.
Can somebody help me or forward this request to another
group

I have same problem ,i want to remove some from my list but can't find the
registry key also i have tried uninstallers and other utilities and they are
still listed.
We need some advice where to look in registry so we can remove the
references to now removed programs on list

i did this on my PC by going into c:windows/twain_32 and just deleting the relevant files
from my old scanner
