TV-out on radeon 9700 PRO...

I have an odd problem with the tv-output on my radeon 9700 pro- card.. It
works otherwise fine, the only
problem being that when I try to play movie files from my computer, they
don't show up in the TV.
So mediaplayer (also tried using winamp) plays fine on the pc but only shows
a black screen on the tv. What's the problem?

There's a way to see movie files in both the monitor and the TV, just turn
off overlay acceleration (in mediaplayer it's located in
tools->options->performance->advanced)

With the help from the forum I actually found a checkbox that allowed me to
select "theater mode" in the overlay tab.. So no the video plays in both the
tv and the pc like it should.
