TV improvements

Does it make visual quality improvements when disabling MMC 9.15 tv on demand ?
Is it worth a try ? Is it possible ? (Actually I tried but it didn't work).
I'm wondering this because of blurry cable TV text, and big bug sound while switching between
channels. Bzzz.

It won't change the quality, but it is possible. There is a registry
hack to do it, it's on the ATI web site, it's also been published here
in this newsgroup.
 
ATI's website says it only works for MMC 9.13 and earlier. Hopefully,
9.16 and up will have the feature built-in.
 
9.08 had the last switchable TVoD.
