Turning off Auto Update on PC

Hi,

I shall be glad if sombody can inform me where the controls are located for
turning Automatic Updates on or off on a Win2k Pro PC?

Or try this if you do not want to have your computer connecting to microsoft
all day even with automatic updates turned off.

control panel/administrative tools/component services/automatic updates/
Change the startup type to disabled - this will really shut if off!
