Turn off auto paging

Is there a way to turn off auto paging so when you delete a portion of a
page, info from the next page moves up, etc.
 
Word really only determines pages when it prints. It is a text flow program.

You can format a given paragraph to have a page break before it. This is
best done in styles rather than by formatting each paragraph.
