Turn off auto complete when addressing a new message

Does anyone know of a way to turn off the "feature" that
brings up a drop down list of name matches as you begin
typing an address in the "To" field, etc. ?

Tools > Options > Preferences > E-mail Options > Advanced E-mail options
Uncheck "Suggest names..."
