TS temporary licenses

I'm using W2K terminal services and I am wondering why the temporary licence
list is still retaining licences that have expired. Surely once the license
has expired it should be deleted from the list.
Also how can I clear out the Existing Windows 2000 List? There are dozens of
clients listed that no longer exist.

Temporary licenses clean up after they expire. The timeframe for
this is 31 days after expiration.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it must be the case that they get
deleted by default, unfortunately I have some that are over two years old
still on the list. Am I missing a trick?

No, not that I know of, and I have seen more reports that this
cleanup service not always works as it should.
Short of uninstalling the LS, deleting the licensing database and
installing everything again (which implies phoning the
Clearinghouse), I wouldn't know what you could do to clean up
manually. Same story for the "Existing Windows 2000" licenses.

Personally, I would live with it, since they are not going to harm
you in any way.

Thanks Vera. That confirms really what I suspected. I've lived with it for
two years, another thirty until I retire won't harm me.
