CALs not issuing

Hello, I have a 2003 Terminal Server I had users log on
and had them issued temporary licences, i then installed
ten CALs, and afterwards renamed the server, now the
startup server configuration screen and TS licence
manager report that there are no license servers
available, I notice it tries to look for them under the
old server name, If I say connect to (my new server name)
It shows the 10 licences available, and the expiring temp
licences. I have my licensing mode set to client, so that
part is okay, what can I do to make it point to the new
name?

Check the following registry key, see if it still points to the old server
name:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters\
LicenseServers
There should be a key under LicenseServers with the license server name.

You should create it then. Is the license server a domain controller?

You can also delete the cached license server information from the following
registry key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Paramaters

EnterpriseServerMulti or DomainLicenseServerMulti (depending on the
licensing role you installed
Remove the old server name from this location and see if it will redetect
the new server name.
