Hello All,

I recently started using Citrix XPe 3 Server Farm, one of my main concerns
is when clients are using an Excel publish application and they choose open
from the file menu they are presented with access to the "TS system C$
drive". I want to stop this drive from displaying on the client. As the
previous admin did not use drive mappings when building the system I need
to know if I can do anything about it now and stop if displaying?

All Help welcome.

You can use a Group Policy to configure "Hide drives" on the
Terminal Server.

User Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows components
- Windows Explorer
"Hide these specified drives in My Computer"

Note that this gives a (limited) cosmetic effect only. Many
applications will still show the server drives in the Save as
dialog box.
If security is your main concern, use NTFS permissions to lock
users out of those parts of the servers hard drive that they
shouldn't have access to.
