TS Remote Admin to Work like PCAnywhere

D

Dwayne

Is it possible to connect to my servers and see what is
happening on the desktop like PC Anywhere does? I came
across a command called shadowing but not sure if this
command is available in this situation or how to use it
from an xp remote client connected to a win2k server
running Terminal Services in Admin mode. We would like to
get rid of PC Anywhere aand just use TS but this problem
is a major problem for us.
Thanks,
Dwayne

If the server runs Windows 2000 you CANNOT get the console through TS. In
this case use VNC that is free.
If the server runs Windows 2003 then you can get the console through TS.

Thanks for the info, we are running 2k, we have shyed
away from VNC because it is slow and we are not sure of
the security risk because of its open source. Are you
aware of any security risk with VNC?
So with 2003 you get the console capability along with
the two session capability now inherent with 2k or in
place of?
Thanks again for your response,
Dwayne
