TS Licensing

I have 2 Servers (1)2K DC and (1)2K TS. My TS is in bad
need of a hardware upgrade. I plan on installing a new
server and making it a DC, then demote the existing DC,
add TS licensing and make it my new TS. The old TS will be
gone. My question concerns licensing. According to my
research if I follow Q306578 and Q271245, I will be ok.
Just deactivate the old TS licensing server (DC) and
reactivate on my new DC, then call the clearinghouse to
have my client CALS reissued.

Is there an easier way?
