Hello

once again me. I installed a W2k-Terminalserver (SP4). I see a strange difference between the buttons (i.e right mous
on the startbutton, the selection open, explorer etc.. have a darker grey then the rest, and are difficulty to read
on the Terminalserver direct (log in in front of the machine) an when i'm working on a client (Machine Windows98
TS-Client I use is the one from XP. My Display Color-depth change on server from High (16M) to 256 color (same as the windows 98 machines) without any success :-

Anybody knows this proble

WIN2000 Terminal Server supports only 256 color. No matter the client. No
matter the RDP Client used.

If you want / need more color choices then the options are to install Citrix
MetaFrame XP or WIN2003 Terminal Server ( with RDP 5.1 or higher ).

Es tut mir leid, aber anders gibt es doch nicht!

OK. TS2000 only support 256 colors...fine, but why there is a difference between the colors on the
TS-Client side and on the server-side ??? Because i allready configure both display with 256 colors an
same resolution ??? And why on a W2k-Laptop with the same Client as on the W98-machines displa
the correct colors without any difference to the serverdisplayed colors ?????

thanks for your hel
