TS App mode to server with TS Admin

Can I access domain through TS in Application mode
for "ordinary users", then connect to other servers in
Admin mode (assuming I'm Admin myself)?

Well, sorta. Either TS is in application mode or
administration mode. It can't be in both. If your system
is in admin mode, then you can change the default
permissions on the rdp connection (through terminal
services configuration) and make it so that any normal
user can connect through terminal services. However,
realize that you'll only be able to have 2 concurrent TS
sessions. TS in application mode doesn't have this 2
session limit, although it does require you to have an
activated TS license server with installed TSCALs.

Thanks Mathew.
Badly phrased question by me, I guess.
What I am seeking to understand is whether I can remotely
enter the domain through a company-wide TS service, on
server TS1, which is in Application Mode, and then, for
instance via a shortcut in My Docs or wherever,
subsequently connect to other servers (FileServer1, SQL1,
etc) which would be running TS in Admin Mode, and then
manage those servers.

Oh, so you are terminal servicing from a terminal services
session then? In that case, yeah, it should work just
fine. It might be a little laggy or choppy, since you are
hopping in between servers and using nested sessions, but
it'll work.
