Trying to uninstall Microsoft Office Home and student --Error mess

I do not use office, its a 60 day trial, when I try to uninstall it I get
this message.

Setup Error
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system.

I contacted Toshiba, they asked me to try like 5 times even though I told
them I had already. Their only help was they gave me a reference number and
phone number for Microsoft. I called them and they say that they don't deal
with trial software that was installed? It's their own program!!. What can
I do?

The trial was preinstalled by Toshiba along with the OS. That's why MS
isn't giving you support. It has to come from Toshiba, whether Toshiba
likes it or not. Have you installed any language packs since getting the
computer? Have you created the recovery dvds for the Toshiba according to
Toshiba's instructions?

I would try uninstalling with elevated rights as follows:
Click Start and type "appwiz.cpl" in Start/Search, but do not hit Enter.
Right click on the appwiz icon at the top of the menu and select Run As
Administrator. Then try uninstalling. Post back.

If all else fails,

Thank you I think it will help me alot, but I have tried removing from
control panel, so I am trying to use method under more information, the but I
get as far as the step 1 d. Click to select the Subject check box, type 340
in the Width of selected column (in pixels) box, and then click OK. Then I'm
sorry if I sound dumb but I do not see a "Subject check box".

Is the trial version actually installed, not just available for
installation?
My HP computer came with it ready to install... "just click here." And, it
would not uninstall until actually installed. (But, it did not give me
language errors.)

Thank you I solved my problem, but you brought up whether I had made the
Recovery DVD that Toshiba recommends, but reading thru my user guide, my
P205-S7476 does not mention making a recovery dvd. I did receive 2 cd's
Toshiba recovery and applications/drivers with the computer.

You got the media. Sometimes it isn't provided and what is needed to
create it is on your hard drive.

Toshiba, like all brands, adds supplemental info to the Help and Support
Center. Search in Help and Support for "make recovery disks." Its probably
there.

OP top-posted that he was provided with recovery media.

I think that means he has no recovery partition and no need to create
recovery discs
