trying to open an email with powerpoint slide. wont open

i recieved an email and tried to open it, but i didn't have power point, so i
downloaded powerpoint viewer. It still wont open. and suggestions?

Umm...

Powerpoint is not an EMail program. For that matter, neither is
Access, the database program which is the subject of this newsgroup.

Please post your question in a newsgroup appropriate to the email
program that you're using. If the EMail has a Powerpoint (.ppt) file
as an attachment, you may want to post in a Powerpoint newsgroup. But
this newsgroup isn't the right place.
