trusting between 2000 and nt 4

I have 2 servers on a network. The NT 4 server can read the contents off of
the 2000 server. The 2000 server cannot do the same on the nt 4 server. I
try to setup a trust relationship through the Active Directory and Trusts
console but it doesn't work. I don't want to upgrade nt to 2000 with Active
Directory. Is there a way to do this as is? Any help is appreciated.

This is a long short, but I have a feeling the RestrictAnonymous and the
LMCompatibilityLevel need to be modified. Check out these articles...
